I have been lucky enough to obtain another job and I have just been to the New Doncaster airport-Robinhood for training this week-Boy we could show them a thing or two!! I hope that we all get some money and when we do we all meet up and have a good drink Hx

Hello all
I haven't looked at this forum for months, so am just catching up on things now. Sad that the dream is over but the happy memories live on. Whether we get paid or not, let's all get together. How does 26th November sound (5 Months on)? I'm over in London now, so does somewhere more local want to decide a suitable venue?

It is very sad now that it is officially over as we were all very close but we are all keeping in touch of sorts and I think we will continue to be in touch. Well I intend to keep in touch at the very least just to annoy everyone! At least we sort of know about our money owed to us even if we don't know how much and when we will get it. The waiting for that final decision was the pain.
Cannot wait to meet up with everyone in November just thinking of somewhere that would be big enough. Maybe a pub with a function room or large room to one side. WE will have to get our thinking caps on and please if we can make it so its not a Thorley Tavern (Sorry Ester) this is just a very personal dislike for them but wherever.
Hope everyone is ok looking forward to November
Lots of Love Lisa XXX

the liquidator today have said that.......... it appears we will receive payments from the insolvency fund within the next 8-10 weeks. payments will be capped. capped at around £280 per week up to max of 8 weeks(minus tax+national ins) same for redundancy/notice payments.
the balance of the payments for preferential creditors(ie the balance of our wages/expenses/holiday pay etc) will take 12-18 months before payment!
so we shuld get some money by christmas - just unsure as to how much!
as far as i can figure that means that we will all get £280 x 4 and £280 x 1week(statutory notice the other 3 weeks notice as per our contracts with eujet would become unsecured)
if thats right then I'm expecting us all to receive payments of £1400 before christmas.
The balance of monies due( unsecured notice, hokliday pay, expenses etc) will be paid out after all the legal proceedings which will take 12-18months if their is enough money left (after paying the liquidaotrs bill for this period!)
If we do get £1400 each then its not the end of the world - sorry that I couldn't bring better news that we would get all money due.
please note that this is to the situation to the best of my knowledge - not legally responsible for any changes to the timetable!

I dont think the Plane Station people would rub our noses in it, they lost their jobs too. A reunion is a great idea.

I have just been in touch with the insolvency fund and they say that as EU Jet is not in liquidation in the UK, only Ireland we can still not get our unpaid wages through them! I explained that they went into liquidation last thursday, but wasnt sure if that meant in the UK as well, does anyone know? This is such a nightmare! They also want me to let them know the liquidator details..i said surely that is your job! But does anyone know so i can get back to them? I read that someone had been paid, how was this recieved?

Hi all. Was paid for july by the insolvency last week. Spoke on Friday 11 th novto the liquidator MCSTAY LUBY, DARGAN HSE. 21-23 FENIAN ST. DUBLIN 2, R.O.I. email rescue@mcstay.ie and according to them for now the RP1 is the only way to get money. They are still uncertain as to whether us on the uk payroll will be covered in the same way as the irish payroll and that they say is why we have not been contacted by them as yet. They hope to know in the next 3 weeks but where have we heard that before!!!!! Anyhow they know what we.re owed so don't get too worked up about having the correct figures on the RP1. If after you get paid you are left short you can appeal. Remember the maximum that can be paid out is 280 pounds for each week we worked. They will send a form later to claim one weeks notice but I do not know if this is maxxed at 280 also. I hope this helps everyone as we're all in the same situation and all suffering from lack of communication. Please pass this on to anyone and everyone and if I get more I'll post it here. Best Wishes, Eddie.
